"I'm sorry! I didn't ask you what you liked". SORRY UMAMI IPA is a beer that our brewers wanted to drink and you didn't, sorry!
The "umami" (one of the 5 basic flavors along with sweet, salty, bitter and sour), is extracted from Katsuobushi (bonito flakes, a tuna-like fish) and while it helps the beer ferment, it also adds refreshing and fruity tropical flavors to the beer.
In case you were wondering, this beer does not taste like fish!
